Pokemon Battrio

Pokémon Battrio was a Japanese arcade game by Takara Tomy and AQ Interactive, launched in July 2007. A 100-yen coin fed into the cabinet dispensed a puck, a plastic disc 40mm across and 3.4mm thick carrying a single Pokémon, and players battled three pucks at a time. Both measurements come from the maker’s own press release of 11 April 2007, which prints them three times. That document and the official site also give the launch as July 2007, and the site told players in late June that the machine would run from mid-July. The maker dated Battrio by month rather than by day as a house style, so the day this page used to print, 14 July 2007, has no source and has been dropped rather than defended.

Over five years Battrio ran through five eras. The 26 sets below are every numbered chapter and every promo line. They are not the full official run: the maker’s own pack index publishes a 27th set, Best Selection, a 97-puck reprint set whose pucks print their original chapter numbers with BS appended. It is now catalogued here and the older claim that 26 sets covered everything is withdrawn. Correction, 2026-09-13. Eleven of the tiles below printed the opening year of their era rather than their own release year, which is a single systematic error rather than eleven separate ones, and all eleven now carry the year their own set page and the official record give.
