About Carddass Part 2

Pokémon Carddass Part 2 is the companion to Part 1, dispensed from the same Carddass vending machines in September 1996, with the same Ken Sugimori watercolour artwork. Parts 1 and 2 share one printed number sequence that runs 001 to 151 and split it between them: 75 of those numbers were dispensed in Part 1 and 76 in Part 2. This page lists the whole sequence and marks which release printed each number, because a number range never attributes a part on its own.

Back colour is not the part. Every Pokémon number in Parts 1 and 2 was printed in both a red front and a green front, so colour and part are two separate axes. Only the title cards and the two card-list cards are colour locked, and Part 2's are red. Carddass cards share a single uniform back within each set, so every entry below has one front-photo slot. Card photos are added from contributor scans as the set is verified.

Correction, 2026-09-13. This page previously stated that Part 2 covered all 151 Generation I Pokémon and that a red-framed back identified the part. Both readings are withdrawn. Two independent catalogues publish the same 75 and 76 split, and the marketplace corpus carries the same printed number in both colours repeatedly, with complete-set lots offered in each colour. The two catalogues disagree on exactly four printed numbers, 032, 033, 045 and 046, so those four are marked disputed below rather than attributed to a release. The #0 row is renamed from Town Map to Title Card (タイトルカード): the printed front is the title card, and the town map is what its back shows. The #156 row is renamed from Town Map (Blue) to Title Card EX (タイトルカードEX), the Blastoise counterpart to the #000 title card, which both catalogues place in Part 2. The card-list cards #154 and #155 are published as カードリスト3 and カードリスト4 from the catalogue sequence that puts 152 and 153 in Part 1 and 154, 155 and 156 in Part 2. The two green cards are photographed and print their own カードリスト1 and カードリスト2 screens; no photograph of a red card-list card has been read yet, so those two numerals are a sequence reading and not a printed one. No source photograph is copied into Hidden Temple.
