Onigiri Incentive Campaign
These mini stickers were never sold on their own. Each one came free on the packaging of fresh onigiri (rice balls) at Seven-Eleven stores across Japan — a gift with purchase that ran for the length of the campaign.
Theatrical Movie Tie-In
The whole set was a nationwide tie-in for the 8th Pokémon movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. That is why the line-up leans so heavily on Hoenn-era Pokémon and the Legendaries featured around that release.
Pokédex-Style Layout
Each sticker is laid out like a Pokédex entry rather than a plain decoration — the character art sits next to official data points: height, weight, and the Pokémon’s name in Japanese katakana.
